Hair On Earth's Salon Website

In Spring of 2018, I took a course titled Writing, Editing, Print and Online. For our final project, we were asked to pick a genre to execute. I chose a website redesign for a local hair salon (Hair on Earth). Utilizing their catchy slogan, their trendy style, and the design elements they tried to implement into their original design, I created a website that I believe reflects their brand identity in a clean and refreshing way.

For my Advanced Editing and Writing course, I completed a project centered around writing a feature article that pertains to my career aspirations and recreating layout designs inspired by a relevant publication. I wrote my feature article on Sophie Li, a talented graphic designer and Florida State University alumna. My layout designs were created in Adobe InDesign and were inspired by Offscreen Magazine.

My group members and I chose to reach out to our local Guardian Ad Litem circuit, where we identified their need for volunteers. This flyer was my contribution to the three text campaign that we conducted for them.
