"Wherever you turn, you can find someone who needs you. Even if it is a little thing, do something for which there is no pay but the privilege of doing it. Remember, you don't live in a world all of your own."
- Albert Schweitzer
Volunteerism and community connection has been a major priority in my life since I was old enough to pick up a hammer and paint brush. From organizing volunteer events and spearheading outreach efforts as a co-president of my high school KEY Club in 2014 to expanding my outreach as a proud Wells Fargo Community Council member in 2018, I have devoted countless hours to aiding and connecting with every community I enter. Below, I've listed my most recent community involvement.
Wells Fargo's community council member
When I began working as a teller for Wells Fargo in February of 2017, I was extremely eager to learn about their district community council. I immediately submitted my name for consideration and soon after joined my fellow team members in discovering ways to better our Big Bend community one valiant effort at a time. Since then I have proudly represented Wells Fargo in working with organizations like Boys Town and Habitat for Humanity, as well as teaching children and young adults about finances and the importance of saving through our Hands On Banking events.

TCC's TAKING ACTION ON DISTRACTION EVENT

In Spring of 2017, whilst taking a Mass Media course, I aided my classmates in organizing an awareness based event in honor of April being Distracted Driving Awareness month. I had the privilege of designing and creating the website for the event and collaborating in other areas of event promotion. I was honored to advertise the event through multiple media outlets including speaking on the morning broadcast of a local news station and sharing event details through social media. We accomplished an excellent turnout and I hold an immense sense of pride in the amount of awareness we were able to spread.
Guardian Ad Litem's Media Campaign
During my 2018 Spring semester at Florida State University, I had the opportunity to work with the local circuit of Gaurdian Ad Litem for a media campaign project I conducted with two other classmates. The project was for a class called Writing, Editing, Print and Online. We volunteered our services to this incredible organization to assist them in recruiting volunteers. Within this campaign, we created three texts: a recruitment flyer, a promotional social media graphic, a LinkedIn volunteer ad. Through our outreach and creative collaboration, we were able to generate materials that will aid in their recruitment efforts.
